IT’S THE GLORY OF THE SEA THAT HAS TURNED MY HEAD. DEAD MEN DON’T LIE. | VERSE VII - PIRATE AUHere is the story of a boy who crowned himself king of the waves. Once upon a time there was a young navy official, who spent his ill-earned time ashore in the beds of loose-moraled women and those with little conscience. once upon a time there was a woman, gaunt of name and face and not too much of a beauty. she did believe in love at first sight, and he believed in some way to spend his last few night ashore in the warm embrace of a woman. he convinced her of loyalty—-whispered of his unfailing sense of duty and in exchange she let him into her heart and into her bed.weeks later, the captain sailed away with her love and left behind a broken woman with another life beneath her heart. the woman was with child and without husband, and thus full of shame and with little chance at a proper life. she birthed him in the slums of 1800′s london and named him TOM, after the man who she still loved, and raised him until her body could no longer sustain her and him both. she succumbed to fever and tom, who didn’t have a decade yet to his name, spent the next three years of his life counting the hours between the scraps of food he could earn—–by helping around the docks, learning the ropes, the numbers, the seduction of words and whispered promises. perhaps his father’s blood ran more prominent than he thought it did, perhaps not just his face but the love for the sea had left its mark on tom, too. a jack of all trades and a familiar face, tom joined the crew of the morningstar , a ship with questionable crew and selfish morals at the tender age of 12.here he learned that life at sea was both bliss and destruction of the mind—–but while many succumbed to the temptations of tortuga’s rum or nassau’s women, tom decided to educate himself. all that he earned went to knowledge—–learning the letters of the alphabet, and how to navigate charts, and how to navigate people. he learned how to whisper into one crewman’s ears the very words that would end both the man in question as well as him who tom didn’t want around anymore. he was a great speaker and an even better listener, and it wasn’t long until he crept up the ranks, becoming quartermaster of the morningstar at eighteen. as quartermaster, he was one step away from glory——he had a voice, an iron will, a goal of sorts.two years passed and it was then that he lost his patience. he started a mutiny, a riot, and while he did gain control of the ship, he had to trade this with the loss of nearly ¾th of the crew. Barely with enough men to sail, he managed to dock at the irish clew bay. Now with a ship but without much of a crew, young tom ( who’s mysteriously un-divulged background earned him the name of captain riddle amongst not just the members of his own crew ) made known that he was recruiting. through with and promises of glory, the positions within his crew were soon filled and they set sail. And sail they did ; making their name across the seven seas as captain riddle and his death eaters, plus a mysterious quartermaster, they became infamous—–but to tom, it wasn’t quite enough.of course, where one craves power, there is always a wicked mind that will provide.it was a deal with a devil unlike the one whispered of in the quiet hours of the night, or blamed for all the trouble in the world. this devil came in the form of a woman with starless eyes and hair the color of ravens, and she spoke with a forked tongue. she promised not glory but the means to gain it, promised six ships plus the seventh already in his position ; unsinkable, unbreakable, crowned jewels of poseidon. and all he had to share in return was his own soul.THE FIRE CAN’T TOUCH ME FOR I HAVE BURNED TOO MANY TIMES. | VERSE XI - ASOIAF AUBorn the illegitimate son to a woman who claimed a long-forgotten old-Valyrian family as her heritage and a nobleman from a small house in the Stormlands, Tuomas grew up living off of whatever charity his father offered in the aftermath of his mother’s death upon the birthing bed. It wasn’t much, and Tuomas Storm ( as all bastards from the Stormlands were named ) learned to be resentful, cunning and intelligent, finding means to get his way through charm, his impressive looks, or the connections he made with noblemen’s sons and daughters who learned to appreciate his company. Soon, even his bastard status couldn’t stop him from having a significant presence among the nobles of Westeros.What he didn’t know was that, due to his mother’s heritage, he had a gift like all highborn valyrian families used to have: he could speak to dragons, and, in turn, they could understand him.Here, his story diverts, depending on who he is interacting with. Either he remains in Westeros, and claws his way up in power in court, or he travels to Essos in an attempt to learn the magic of R’Hllor. In this second verse he eventually meets Daenerys, and it is up to any Dany players to decide whether that is during her conquest of the cities or later, when Drogon returns her body to Essos and he finds and resurrects her with the Red God’s magic.

IF I CANNOT BEND HEAVEN I SHALL RAISE HELL. | VERSE X - ALTERNATIVE POST-RESURRECTIONThis verse consists of a post-resurrection Voldemort that, unlike the verse above, wins the war and creates quite the frightening “utopia” for the wizarding world. This verse covers his resurrection in a body stolen from a vital youth, leaving his mind more in-tact. He hunts down his own horcruxes after having learned of the destruction of the diary, not willing to risk more of his soul after having nearly died the first time. TL;DR Tom is not a dumbass thank you for coming to my TOMTALK.A WORLD OUTSIDE OF PLACE AND TIME. | VERSE VI - TIMETURNER & ROOM VERSEThis verse is made for any situation which can not fit in the above. The time turner verse obviously covers Tom from any of the above verses, dropping into a different timeline. This verse consists of a room outside of time/reality, where muses can meet up. They can not die and the things created in this verse can not be taken out of this world. PROFESSOR AUspin-off of my adoption verse (in the default version he gets adopted by poppy pomfrey who kicks his butt into gear), because i believe he needs to be on the… ‘good’ side in order to end up a professor. poppy is a nurturing but strict mother-figure, which i believe is exactly what tom needed in order to grow up a better person. she keeps him in line but shows him love and nurture. poppy encourages his education but ensures he doesn’t lose his moral compass at any point.
because he doesn’t live in london during the blitz, he avoids that trauma, which in turn means he has less reason to be as terrified of death as he is in my hcs. this leads to him not pursuing a means to gain immortality so readily, though i am considering him experimenting with one (1) horcrux, but feeling so terrible about it that it never goes any further than that.
because his mental health is much better, so is his physical health.
he’s a DADA professor, because let’s be real here, it’s his best subject. he’s a strict teacher, but not a bully. he firmly believes education is the greatest gift and doesn’t like it when people slack off. will offer extra help to any student who puts in the effort, regardless of how well the effort pays off.
can definitely be persuaded to be a little more cheerful with candy. feeding him candy unfortunately won’t make him change your grade, but it might make him consider to offer you extra help to ensure your grade gets better next time.
he still pursues his heritage as heir of slytherin, but doesn’t use that title in order to gain the following he does in canon, so much as that he tries to create a bridge between the pureblood community and the rest of the wizarding community (which is very seksi of him ngl).

Full verse explanation tba.At the age of 8, the orphanage informs Tom that his family has been found and upon being visited by his grandparents and father, they agree that he is indeed the child his father hadn't believed Merope had claimed she'd been carrying when he left, and Tom was taken in by them.This Tom is a scarred but redeemable boy who tries his best to marry both his muggle and magical heritage. He is extremely divergent from canon.
